The Community Action Group has been set up to focus on flood prevention initiatives in Rode. The group will look to develop plans to reduce the risk of flooding to properties in the village, seek access to funding to implement such plans, and possibly also be involved in the creation of an Emergency Plan for the village.
The initial meeting will be an opportunity for attendees to compare notes, and highlight potential flood issues/risks. We will also be able to discuss the various options for “Natural Flood Management” which have previously been identified.
It will take place at 17, High Street, Rode, starting at 7pm on Monday 24th March.
