Rode Gardens Association

Rode Gardens Association (RGA) was formed in 2006 following an offer by the owners of Barrow Farm to make available (by lease and rental) part of their farmland to a small number of village residents who wished to start up their own allotments. Lottery funding was obtained to assist with the cost of fencing off the land, installing gates, purchasing and erecting a shed etc. A wildlife pond is on the site. There are seven plots.

The objectives of the Association are to pursue allotment cultivation and aspire to organic gardening. RGA is actively looking for additional land to rent for allotments, and if anyone has a plot that they are interested in renting to the RGA, please contact Tracey Gardener.
